Itinerary

Day 1: Start in London, Head to Richmond
Morning: Meet your group at a central London dock (near Westminster, accessible by Tube). River106 provides kayaks/paddles or barge access, plus a safety briefing. Choose kayaking for a hands-on paddle (easy pace) or the barge for a relaxed cruise.
Afternoon: Paddle or cruise 10 miles to Richmond, passing Kew Gardens’ greenery. Stop for a guided tour of Richmond Park, home to roaming deer. Lunch at a historic pub (fish and chips, included). Check into a cozy 3-star hotel.
Evening: Free evening to explore Richmond’s riverside or hit another pub (try the local ales!). Dinner on your own.

Day 2: Windsor Castle
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel (full English—bacon, eggs, the works). Paddle or cruise 15 miles to Windsor, gliding past quaint villages and lock gates. Your guide shares stories of Thames history, like its role in trade.
Afternoon: Arrive in Windsor, enjoy a pub lunch (pie and mash, included). Guided tour of Windsor Castle, the Queen’s residence, exploring the State Apartments and St. George’s Chapel. Free time to wander Windsor’s cobbled streets.
Evening: Check into a 3-star hotel. Dinner at a local pub with hearty fare (think shepherd’s pie, included).
Overnight: Windsor

Day 3: Oxford & Departure
Morning: Breakfast at the hotel, then paddle or cruise 20 miles to Oxford, passing lush meadows and historic estates. Stop briefly at a lock for a quick stretch and guide’s tale about Thames punting traditions.
Afternoon: Arrive in Oxford by midday. Guided walking tour of Oxford University, visiting iconic colleges like Christ Church and the Bodleian Library. Light lunch on your own (grab a sandwich at a cafe). Disembark by 2 PM, with River106 arranging transfers to Oxford Station or London (your choice). Safe travels!
